The DMH Fund (Dr. Magnus Hirschfield Fund) has proposed an affordable, senior housing complex catering to the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender community in the heart of Philadelphia's Gayborhood.
The William Way Senior Residences would occupy a surface parking lot on Juniper Street at Spruce and include 70 units for low-income seniors. Included in this proposal is the rehabilitation of the William Way LGBT Community Center.
Currently in the planning stage, if this project is officially proposed to the city it will partner with Pennrose Properties. The project is being evaluated by the board at WWCC.
